Situated in the Bordeaux region in Aquitaine, in the
middle of the Graves wine region, 15mn from Bordeaux
town centre, 45 minutes from Arcachon, its beaches
and its famous sand dune (the highest in Europe), 45
minutes from St Emilion, surrounded by vineyards and
for the golfers, surrounded by several golf courses
within 5 to 60 kms (Pessac, Bordeaux Lac, Gujan
Mestras, Lacanau and more).

Nick and Myriam welcome you in their beautiful
1940’s restored home situated opposite a local animal
park with a small lake and a children’s play area.

Accommodation available:

2 lovely double rooms in the attic, each with its
own shower room (shower, toilet and washbasin).

The use of their library where you can read books
and pamphlets on the region and listen to music.
You can also relax on the terrace in the back garden
and enjoy and cup of tea, or.... a glass of local wine.

Breakfast will be served in our sitting room/dining room,
unless you prefer the informal use of our big kitchen.
Your host will serve you a French breakfast of bread,
butter, home made jam, freshly squeezed fruit juice, fresh
coffee, tea or hot chocolate and other delicious local
delicacies. We can help you plan your holidays, there is
plenty to do whether you want to visit the vineyards, go
canoeing on the Leyre river, take a trip to Arcachon, go into
Bordeaux for a guided tour or visit one of its many sites,
or whatever else you fancy. There are some lovely local
markets, too, and bike rides and much more.
